Linagliptin Tablets come under the branding Linadab-5. It is an anti-diabetic drug that is primarily used to treat type 2 diabetes in adults along with diet and lifestyle changes. Linagliptin Tablets contain Linagliptin that is used alone or in combination with other medicines to lower blood sugar levels. People with type 2 diabetes either do not produce enough insulin or the insulin produced can not perform its function in the human body.

Middle-aged or older people are most likely to face type 2 diabetes, also called adult-onset diabetes. Linagliptin Tablets work by blocking the action of DPP-4.
